The Prowler is the Point!" ------------------ The only concern is the tires flat spotting from sitting still for so long. maybe put it up on jack stands/ blocks whatever... My car doesn't go in for the winter...that would mean walking to work...LOL. ------------------ This message has been edited by butchcee on 09-08-2004 at 10:11 AM ------------------ ------------------ ------------------ ------------------ So now we're talkin'...... I could never picture Bob Goetz as a 9 to 5 office worker...with no toys around...not in this lifetime! ------------------tangled up in BLUE I make sure everything is filled with gas, waxed and swept one last time.....cars are mostly stored in storage bags with battery tenders for the long sleep.....they stay clean, charged and ready to play next spring.... CJ I have the Mopar car covers for both of my cats. For winter storage, we use the CarBags and love them! They use desicant to pull moisture out of the bags and my cats come out dust-free and clean as the day they went into storage. We highly recommend them. ed monahan None. ALLEY CAT Winter storage? Pay the insurance, plates, keep full of gas, and they are ready to roll at a minute's notice. bbcar My Kat will be filled with gas and Sta-Bil, waxed, top up, cleaned inside and out and with fresh synthetic oil and filter. I have a tight heated garage so I dont cover the car and it will go out during the winter as often as clean streets will allow. I use a battery tender any time the car will not be started for more than a couple of weeks.
Barrypumpkin nothing, nada.

catfish were lucky in az.drive 365 days if you want to.if we want snow we have to go looking for it.it doesnt come to us.snow, yucky stuff.one good reason i moved to az.in 1991 my truck was litterally frozen to the street, thats when i said time to leave this place. Randy Cobb We certainly have snow & ice in NC in the winter, but there are also good Prowl'in days to be had, so I don't do anything different other than to tend to drive it about half as much. See you in Michigan...CatDude I lock the doors. CJ Just for a little clarification.....we have a lot of nice, dry days during the winters here and there are days I wish I had my cats out so I could take a drive. However, after the first snow, they pour the salt on the roads (every time it snows) and it stays on the roads until spring when we get some good rains. The cars get covered with salt and it's an ugly sight. No way would I take the cats out on roads like that. Bob would have a coronary!!!
